Really looking forward to see how he develops in his 2nd season, he's gone on record to say hes loving life on Teesside so no no issues regarding him not been here next season at least

Remember when we had Kenneth Omerau, not sure if that's spelt correctly, hecwas quality his 1st loaned season to us, his second, after asking to come back to us was a bit of a disappointment & he just fizzled out, showing how tough the Championship is, fingers crossed VDB carries on improving

You are right,Erimus, Big Ken looked the real deal on loan one, but not so much the next time. Hopefully VDB will kick on as he is settled and loved at the club. UTB

I like Rav Van Den Berg ,and am looking forward to see his progression next season. For a young lad he has played in every position in the defence in both a back four and three system. In my opinion if he carries in like this he will be looked at by either the Premier league or the Bundesliga .

He is the reason I think we'll spend well in the summer

The club cant on one hand offer VDB a new contract with promises of how they see/want the direction of the club going next season & then on the other hand feed Michael Carrick on scraps
