His work ethic, his passion, his fight, his desire to win was good enough, others were there for the footballing side of things, probably one of our main players over the few years he was here

Mind he scored some cracking goals for us too, scored two penalties in the same game when history was made when we beat QPR 2-0 at the Riverside & the first time we had ever done the double over the Londoners

You never watched him play then?

He was a cracking player with a belter of a left foot

Let down by the shite that we had in the squad at the time

Agree, think he regretted going to Canada when he did & cancelling his remaining time at the club, yes it was something he thought he had to do but not long after going to Canada he was back home & signed for Sheff United

erimus74

He was sent off on his Boro debut away to Bristol City

He only looked good(to some fans) due to the abysmal rubbish around him
Been a ST holder since Ayresome days and Robson is probably the most overrated player I've seen

borope

Steve Agnew still lives in the area. Saw him at Teesside airport last year about to fly out to Faro for pre season training with Aberdeen.

that's got me thinking, the most overrated recent player for me is Bamford.

Loads of underrated players;  Job, Ricard, Vickers,

The DJ was over rated

Especially by himself
