Scored one of the quickest goals scored at Ayresome Park

Peter Brine scored after only 38 seconds at home to Arsenal on a mild Tuesday evening under the floodlights at at Ayresome Park.
The mighty Boro played Arsenal in 1st division fixture, a rehearsal for the upcoming FAC 5th at Ayresome Park, 4 days later

At No9, Peter Brine put the Boro one up after only 38 seconds it was his 1st top flight home goal

Boro went on to win the game 3-0 Arsenal, with further goals from David Armstrong & David Mills their 5th & 10th of the campaign respectively
After the game Arsenal striker Malcolm McDonald told the media, a different Arsenal team will turn up for the FAC tie.................................................................................
