BUT....

It does rankle me a little bit if im honest.

They did try to help someone out they thought was genuine.

Yes there was an element of a rush to be the biggest VS'er.

But, and maybe im wrong, they tried to help.

Its classic boy who cried wolf.

The next person might be genuine and really need help. I did.

I just hope if that person comes along he/she dont fall through the cracks because of once bitten etc.

BUT.....

The 1st thing i would of done for him is to check if he could of got a crisis loan.

Then, at the time it would of not been a problem, i would of spoke to him privately, not via PM neither, and as "board owner" would of seen if i could of helped him privately.

Then it would of been me that was conned and not the whole board.

Because then i would of taken it personally and dealt with it myself without changing the mindset of the community willing to help out again.

Does that make ANY sense?
