This last week has summed up local politics in a nutshell.

1 local councillor completely avoids ANY criticism. Brags about never being bankrupt or how could he buy a house?

When challenged he spouts some word salad bollocks and the "thread" dies. An elected councillor, elected by some of my daughters family, blocks "people" on social media he cannot debate with etc.

Lets break down a few things. Just the other day he mentioned they sold his wifes car. Why the need to say it was a 19 reg car? Like it was old or something? How many people who elected him can afford to drive around in a 4 year old car?
The "6k" heat pump. All that has been said.

Quick to "condemn" me as a "racist". Quick to block on sm. Likes to use OTR as his political rally point. Called Clarke, Houchen and Preston "criminals" "frauds" etc etc.
But the second he comes under scrutiny what does he do? Exactly what he accuses them blokes of doing. Word salad and shutdowns.

Dont put yourself in the public eye if you will not listen to other points of view.
