Personally, I think Carrick has a job to do here first. Middlesbrough is a tiny job in comparison to MUFC. Let him build that ladder before linking him with big PL jobs.

Yep agree 100%, he knows himself  that he has to learn his progression before taking such a high profile club & TBH he's the last one who wants to go to a club that is riddled with self desruction

He should look at history. Mclaren jumped too early. You need at least 5 years before you move to a club of that stature.


He was only 2 more defeats here before the fans would have turned on him.

I know one or two have succeeded straight away but not many.
