My son in law sent me this earlier today about Greenwood potential signing
I asked my work mate on saturday night regarding us signing him in January, hecwasnt to surecas a few Leeds fans he knows were suprised & disapointed he sas loaned to us

I was a bit sceptical of him, loaned from a fellow championship club, not much in his cameo roles but my, Cardiff & Sunderland he has shown what he brings to the team, could he be our Akpom replacement

Doing okay, A bit early to be shooting our load over him, and throwing bids in for him IMO

That will be his agent dropping all the juicy bits into the public domain after a decent couple of games.

Francks left peg

1.5 million! If he keeps this up, it would be a steal

Keanu_Reeves

If that's true I'd say it will probably be a steal. The lad looks to have something about him and an eye for goal too. Looks like the sort of player who'll score goals out of nothing and make goals for himself without necessarily relying on others to set him up

I don't think we're throwing bids in, the price is already agreed.
His agent can't start a bidding war either if that's his game.
It looks like if we want him he is ours for £1.5m.
If he's shit, we don't bother.

Cracking bit of business if that's the case.

Has anyone else noticed Sam's resemblance to Scott Macdonald?

The way Sam clipped his goal past the keeper looked not too dissimilar to the one Scott got against the Mackems in the League CUp a few years back.

Opposite side of the goal but similar technique and reactions

I was at that game Ural, in the home end, went with my brother & had to sit my hands 😂

I was in our end - and didn't have to!

Magic night

I get what you are saying  - I just find it weird all this has dropped into the media/public domain all of a sudden as if the is a reason for it.

Is it to get it all out there ready for whatever reason?

don't forget it takes two to tango.

all very odd if you ask me. I also need more than two good games from him, and as others highlight he will be a good poke at Leeds. So won't come cheap for the wage bill. He needs to perform before we go head-first in for him.

True, but that's the beauty of it being an option. If he doesn't perform he goes back. If he does perform we've got a guaranteed bargain. I can't see a down side.

No idea why it's suddenly come out, but apparently The Athletic journalist who broke the story has strong links with people at Leeds and often publishes inside info.
