One of the legends of my favourite & the best Boro team in my time made his Boro debut this day 7th October 1972 at home to Millwall, wearing the No12 shirt
Peter was registered No492 when he took the field replacing Gordon Jones

Peter went on to make 94 appearences, scoring 8 goals between 1972-1977

Boro won the game 1-0 with the late, great Willie Maddren scoring the goal infront of 10,863 fans
