We'd be in exactly the same spot as Sheff Utd and Burnley are with a whole season of misery in front of us. The only reason Luton aren't the same is they met a team worse in Everton

The only upside is the parachute money but you need that to cover the loss you make when you have to offload all your big signings

PL is a poisoned chalice even if you survive the first couple of years the whole edifice comes crashing down once FFP bites in the EFL

I'd rather be competitive like last year and have a good cup run with some good away trips
