Blast from the past - 29th September 1990 2nd Divison

Boro thrashed Leicester City 6-0 at Ayresome Park as Colin Todds team ran Leicester ragged from kickof, leading 4 nil at HT

Boro didnt let up in the 2nd half as Leicesters keeper Hooper, onloan from Liverpool, must have wished the club had looked elsewhere, as the Boro just bombarded his goal

Colin Todds team were magnificent that day

Boro's goals coming from Jimmy Phillips, John Hendrie, Bernie Slaven, Ian Baird & a brace from Paul Kerr

Bernie came on midway through the 1st half due to an injury to Robbie Mustoe, who wore No7 shirt & Bernie probably scored the best goal of the 6
