The win over Leeds completed a great hat trick of home wins on the bounce against Newcastle (1-0) Sunderland (2-1) & Leeds

Alan Willey went to score one more Boro goal, his 8th & final Boro goal when he notched the 4th in a 4-0 home win over Hereford in the FAC 4th round
