If you like your fairground rides you will like this.

It is safe to say I would not be going anywhere near it.

I'd shit my pants just sat in it - never mind when it gets released and swinging from it.

I'm sure it will give you some rush mind you for the thrill seekers out there.

That's nowt peely Lad . . .

Didn't you ever go on the 'mad mouse' at Seaton Carew?

:mick:  :rav:

:monkeyman4:
Why must I feel like that . . . Why must I chase the 🐈

Mike Peeler

The log flume was as daring as I got at Alton Towers :rav:

actually, i didn't mind heights and the mad stuff in my younger days.

As i got older heights and that wobbled me a touch

So you never did the Transporter bungee jump?

AtomicDog

Some of the 'Ahem' older Chap's on here must remember that, when the fairground use to be at Seaton Carew, on the right before you use to go in, before the bus terminus?

Proper fair ride, use to travel about Mach 1.
No seat belts or nowt. Seat like one of them benches in the boot room at work or back of a tranny van.

use to f**king fly  :mick:  always come off it with a nauseating feeling, bit like the bends . . .  trousers like Johnny's?

Someone must remember it, think there was one at Blackpool too?

Not for the faint hearted . . .

I remember the Corporation buses were chocka around the clock bus stand

We were that poor we had to ride our push bikes there.....

At last! . . .

Thank you Sir

I thought Lids or Erimus would remember that, not that I'm implying they're old like

We use to go over the transporter then get the bus the other side, when we lived in the town
Why must I feel like that . . . Why must I chase the 🐈

We never really did Seaton much in my childhood - it was always Redcar, back then, both with the family and as a young buck and the lads on bikes or the 263 as it was then.

AtomicDog

It was far, far scarier than that  :mick:
I'm sure Mr 501 would agree.
