Calm down. I never panic before Xmas.

Can you give me a few names who will buy a parochial club in the NE of England.

AtomicDog

Sorry Lids lad. . . I thought this thread was going to be a review of a new album by some indie beat combo, you know the type :westy:'s mob like

The more inane & banal the better, music to jump off cliff's to?
Why must I feel like that . . . Why must I chase the 🐈

I never knew the difference between Indie, garage, grunge?, What do you think The Kinks were or The Animals.

Bud Wiser

I think we'll learn more about Gibson's intentions when the 22/23 year ending (30th June) financial figures are released. Bearing in mind they'll include no significant transfer outlays, money in for Tavernier & Spence and gate revenue from near 26,000 average attendances at well above Championship average prices.

If he's intent on balancing the books for FFP rules then fair enough. Or this might give some indication he's making the club a saleable asset. So you Gibson Out merchants might get your wish after all.
But if the figures show another significant loss, not only making a sale unviable but bringing into question why the club are Hemorrhaging so much money?

I think that's on the button. I still don't think it's for sale but I have been wrong many many times.

Nosmo-King

We aren't a saleable club 120 million debt sees to that. Liking it or not Gibbo is stuck with us and we are stuck with him.

How this will ever change is a moot point

won't argue with that

Nosmo-King

Interesting thread OTR on if we are - or are not a well run club. indeedido once more forensically exposes the financial ineptitude shown by Gibbo to back his opinion we are not.

Hard to argue the fact but some twit - offering no counter argument- shows only one person up - himself! Fool

Nosmo-King

What I find incredible is so many refuse to accept rather than be the hero Gibbo is the villain. To have our club in a place where we can't be sold because our Chairman has placed us in such a position- and yet is still lauded as a saviour is, frankly, barely believable.

We are a state presently. Financially, performance wise, playing squad deficiencies  questionable team selections and tactics- it's a mess - and a damn big one.

Like I've always said there's two types of music, good n shit.
You're aforementioned band's fall into the former Guv

Seen the Kinks at Redcar bowl

Think that was just before they had their last big fall out.
Eric Burdon is a brilliant singer, sadly before My time (with the Animals)

When we hosted the Olympics which lets face it, probably the only one time in our lives we'd see it here and Danny Boyle was involved I thought he would show the world what fantastic music the UK has made.

Gone right through the time's, you know from the 60's to the present day, cos barring American soul, we've always had the best.

I was really looking forward to it . . . Hollie's, Kinks, Face's, Zep, Stones, Roxy, The Hoople, Undertones, Pistol's f*cker should've even got the Jam involved, Mondays, Roses, The Libertines the whole lot.
Gone right through the full spectrum, even the 89 summer of love and all the DJ's. And anyone else I've missed in between, that makes you want to spend your wages on their music.
You know showing how music captivates people, takes them from the mundanity of some sh*t job you do, surrounded by ars*hole's that know f**king nowt, ars*licker's, we all know them . . .

I really thought he would show youth culture in this country, what it's all about and how good we are at it.

what it's all about.

But he didn't . . . I was so disappointed.

I will try and explain this again. That debt is in effect to himself. I can't be bothered to see the cash flow forecast for Bulkhall or it's balance sheet, but that £120 will appear on both sides. As I told you Bulkhall is worth over £1 billion based on its profits.

Company Ownership Details ... Middlesbrough Football and Athletic Company (1986) Limited is wholly owned by the Gibson O'Neill Company

It is saleable as is any subsidiary of any company. What you have to pay is what the holding wants.
