Its why Redcar will never be more than a listed class course. The drainage is appalling. You could not run a G2 race at Redcar.

And Redcar is the only course in the UK with a straight level 1 mile. Same for 7f. That should be the attraction of the course to owners and trainers and the BHA.

Love it, it's why it takes a special kind to live in the north east. You have to be able to withstand the cold elements that we often see up here. Not like the soft southern bastards who cry if it's not sunny outside all day.

we went to London for a weekend, the news was full of had bad the snow was and the traffic problems. There was no snow and it wasn't even cold. An Italian waiter said to us it's embarrassing.

When i go down on a Monday sometimes it depresses me the state of the seafront and High St. Long gone are the packed out days.

No pubs I was driving , Went in this restaurant on a corner for fish n chips had a walk about the town and down the front . I wouldn't take the kids down there for a day out if I had any young ones lets put it that way .
