Strategy of MFC for this season

I am somewhat baffled by our strategy - the fact we are going to be reliant on permanent signings and dumping the policy of achieving 4th with having the quality of loans - surely a finishing position vindicating that strategy. So all change - forget we were 4th, our new policy is the one for us.

The problem with this is the quality of players signed does not equate to any ambition we hold - or, indeed, is the ambition purely lip service to pacify the fanbase?

Struggling to score goals - and little wonder when you view how we have lost nearly 50 goals out of the team, a defence still susceptible to errors leading to conceding regularly, signing players of promise as opposed to experience - not a policy I believe will succeed - certainly short term.

So frustrating as we were so close last season - and we seem to have spunked that up the wall by following a theory and hope we still have enough to mount a promotion challenge.

To me, we haven't much hope of this happening. Bargain-based shopping results in one thing - a regression in results. Certainly in the short-term.

As I said months ago we missed an enormous opportunity last season and it will take 3 to 4 years to rebuild to a position where we can challenge for the top 2 spots

Add to it that this year the Chumps look the toughest ever and we have to think in terms of scraping the top 6

Get used to it - I have

:bigjack

Francks left peg

The stuff going on with McGree I find baffling

I think this is more or less the aim for the club, to build year on year with the potential now bearing fruit in a couple years time. However, the club are painting a different picture and the fans are being led down the garden path to a degree. I might be wrong, but it will take 4 top signings that will go straight into the first 11 to convince me otherwise.

Why is She advertising kitchens and funerals?

You would think the multi-millionaire 'Magic' man Paul would have left her a few Bob . . . It's crazy!
Why must I feel like that . . . Why must I chase the 🐈

The strategy is quite simple. The hierachy at Rockliffe Towers think we all yearn for the entertain-at-all-costs philosophy we saw under Bryan Robson. You know, where the football was that enthralling we went from hosting Liverpool, Man Utd & Arsenal to Port Vale, Bury & Crewe within the blink of a summer!

Roll up, suckers.
