Ebor Festival starts tomorrow. Anyone going? I did the John Smiths trophy there this year. Too busy for my liking. Prefer the smaller courses.

Any tips?

It was quite interesting last time I went. Didn't help that Boro were playing York in a friendly on Tue same day.

I was there years ago on a freebie. A lad who I don't know had one of those Jackpot bets. He had the first 4 winners a photo second in the next and a winner in the last, he won nothing. He went home physically sick. It spoilt the day for everyone. We were all on that mound screaming for him. The last winning finished him off.

Someone driving would be ideal. The walk from the station to the course is horrific of the conditions aren't right. £42 is outrageous.

We go every year to the Dante with the lads off shift usually walk to the course from the Punch Bowl. It was always about £25 but like everything else its shot up. County stand is £75 on Thursday.

Thought Joe Fanning gave the other 1 a terrible ride. Will forget that run but i still think it will take a decent handicap soon.
