I'm not in the know but I wouldn't bet against the club having a sell on as part of the deal when selling him. It seems pretty standard these days for all clubs. We made 4 million on Braithwaite moving to Barca, so I can't see us letting Wood being exempt from a future sale. Our problem is bringing quality to replace what we lost last season.

20% I think it was. Boro learnt from that transfer, that the release clause was seriously undervalued at the time it was triggered. Braithwaite we made our money back plus 4 million on top. Swings n roundabouts as it looks like we could pocket a couple of million off the wood sale.
