Thanks all I'm getting there

Cheers Ken for the week off - not up to too much joviality yet

C'mon Boro give us a boost!

Quote from: Ural Quntz (Moderator) on August 17, 2023, 03:26:36 PMMy best pal over the last 13 years has died today

We went for a beach walk before a pub lunch and he suddenly couldn't go any further and lay on the grass clearly in trouble.

I figured a heart attack and lay down with him stroking and talking and he passed there and then

Its how we would have had it and it was very quick for him but that is not helping at all

I am completely and utterly destroyed at the moment

Goodbye Indy - the absolute GOAT!

Thanks for all the fun we had together

Sorry to hear this mate but passed doing what he loved and you were there with him.

My Staffy is 14 now and on his last legs.  Meds help him but does have his bad episodes.  Possibly got cancer on his face just waiting for results but he's still too active to think about putting him down.

The cone is to stop him scratching it and it's definitely helping.  Hrs not amused by it at all.

Ultimately (when I rationalise it) Indy had a great life and the best ending we could have dreamed of

Sending you best wishes for a full recovery mate

Sorry it's late Ural, I couldn't get on here for love nor money (thanks Kenny for sorting out the problem)

I'm gutted for you and your beautiful boy. I've lost family and friends in time but the worst pain I ever felt was losing each and every single one of my girls. The bond that a man has with his dog is unbreakable. The loyalty a dog has for it's master is a wonderful thing.

In 3 years I've lost three of my girls, all suddenly(2 cancer, 1 pyometra) and each one has broken me. Time is a great healer, even if it feels like it's taking an eternity.

He'll be over the rainbow bridge with all his doggy pals watching down on you from above. He'll never be forgotten, you'll always have your memories. My girls are with me, even if I can't see them and your boy will be with you.

Also, I must say, what a beautiful dog.
