You don't have to say new players. Can see Crooks being the new whipping boy. Playing as a striker.
I know the transfer window is still open, but we shouldn't be sticking players in out of position.
Gonna end up playing catch up already.
Think we might have been a bit spoilt by a few of the gems we had on loan last season.

Good shout Frank, I was guilty of that in my assessment earlier on, probably down to frustration more than anything

I've always told myself to give it 24 hours before posting after a defeat, didnt wait more than 3

I still hope we bring in a 1st team CF & a left back, give Coulson a bit more time to find his feet, see how he is after 5, 6, 7 games, I really liked him under Woodgate & thought he was unlucky to lose & when he drifted from club to club I just expected him to move on

He started ok but for me looked weak at times & lost the ball a few times when their player was a bit stronger, but he kept going, didnt hide so a good side of him there, tactical move seen Silvera replace him who done exceptional well & on another day could have scored

the reason I said new, is because they seem to have more judgements based on them. For example Rogers has got some Pelters today otr and it's his first proper game. not only that, Barlaser has had injuries galore no chance to be match fit and still getting Pelters. I could be wrong but we will see.

I will reserve serious judgment once the window is shut - the bench if most or all stay will see us stronger but we are missing a couple of much-needed signings or it could be a battle just to make the top 10 never mind the top 6.

I think they have players in mind loan or cash. Otherwise, we would have filled the left-back/coulson role with at least another body. So rather than take anybody we are waiting if you are like. Well, I hope thats the case for the missing 2 or 3 players I think we need.

Agree with silvera, looked decent and hungry as you'd expect a young 'un to do on debut. He's shorter than you though so not much of a presence in the box, but he looks like he'll bang plenty of crosses in, we just need some fucker on the end of them

I'm struggling to see where Crooks best position actually is, because he is poor wherever he plays. As for Barlaser he was kept out of the Rotherham team by Lewis Wing!! That's how good he is. I couldn't believe the clamour to get him signed when it was revealed we were in for him

I will give you that Franck and it also goes to show some players are better under different managers through a style of play. He does not suit free flowing fast-paced football - he is without doubt a 100% trier and so is worth something over any lazy bastards out there. Not of a high champo level IMO

In the season that Wing was at Rotherham Barlaser started 33 Championship games, Wing started 20.
