Making the play-offs again would be a great achievement for me.

I think so too, for me top 2 Leicester & Southampton, my guess through the season we'll probably be around the 8th, 9th position

People need to realise we are just another bog standard Championship club now.
Gibbo can't just pump anything he likes into it anymore. It has to be within financial rules.
Parachute payment clubs will always have a head start and a far better squad.
We are now following a model that is proven in getting clubs promoted. It requires patience though.

We will go up again at some point.

Every prediction on Reddit has us top three

I asked the question on there....I don't think other supporters realise we've lost so many players and signed so many unknowns

That rule needs to change, even when we had those payments I thought it unfair. How the fuck can you say, they are allowed a 30 million pound start on everyone else, to maintain your higher standards, but the rest must stay within the scraps they are thrown. A club, in my opinion should be allowed to throw 50 million into their own pot every 3yrs  outside the ffp sequence. At least that will take away the domination of relegated teams from the prem going straight back up.

I will put my annual losing bet on us getting promoted.

Got no confidence in a top 6 spot let alone automatic promotion. Think the club has missed a golden opportunity to kick on.

You thought that the day Gibson became Chairman.

Mike Peeler

I would be hard-pressed to say top six at present but will be expecting top six as a target once the window closes.

It's heading for a near if not sell-out on Saturday so that's a huge plus for the club. Here is hoping they can match the crowd support with three points on the field. UTFB!

As it stands we have no chance whatsoever of making the play-offs - never mind getting promoted.

Apart from central defence we're far weaker in every other department than we were at the end of last season.

I'm expecting praying for some transfer/loan miracles before the Sept 1st deadline but certainly not holding my breath.

Sorry I put this on wrong thread.

Need to see who we bring in on loans. Would to well to scrape in 6 spot currently

Francks left peg

I hope we hit the top 6 this year. Couple of decent signings and we should

TheWalker
