I never knew that fact about the white keepers shirt - I just thought as a kid and not going to all games I must have missed him wearing it. The green one is the one that always sticks in my mind even though he has a blue one. I wish keepers these days just stuck to green and not the horrible tops they now wear.

Is my memory playing tricks or did Platt often not wear gloves?

I remember keepers wearing pretty thin gloves back then and then Schumacher wearing massive jazz hand gloves for West Germany in 82 which then became the norm.
