Sadly think about 8th finish , playing catch up again like last year squadwise , & the Akpom thing is a bit of a joke now .....& can he do it again anyway?

I think that was the 'bookies' banking on a good transfer intake as we all did - which might yet still happen as things stand I'm in the 8th - 10th camp at best.

You are right to some degree the problem he is if he hangs out for a 'free' is if he has a shit season, the one-season wonder tag comes out. The flip to that is he knocks in another bag full and goes buck she with a bigger bag of money waiting for him next summer.

As things stand he is stuck between the two as a comparison. It's a very tricky situation for all 'player and club' in fairness.

I don't think he will hit 20 again with or without us. 10/15 max which is still not bad i suppose if he stays

Rogers isn't a CF mate, only up top because we have fuck all else. Man City will always get rid of players who simply aren't good enough, look at Sancho as an example. Silvera, to be fair to the lad, he was injured for 4 months at the start of his stint in Portugal, then caught Covid straight after, which knocked fuck out of him. That was his season done there, so lets see what he does. For 500k it is worth a punt.

Yes, they've got Rogers to play in off the wings or a deeper role 10 maybe.

To be fair to Liddle he did play there (cf) at Blackpool last year I think - like you say he is covering up front for now - or he better be.
