Boro travelled to Dumfermline Athletic for our 1st friendly of the summer, back end of the season (May) the Boro had a trip to Norway taking in 2 fixtures, which we won, then a short break to resume for the Scottish fixture

Boro fielded a strong team as we prepared for the seasons opener, our 1st season in the top flight for over 20 years was just over 2 weeks away

Big Jacks team didnt start off their 1st friendly of the summer very well, coming away with a 2-1 defeat, David Armstrong scoring our only goal in front of a crowd of 3,000
