Blott

I would not recognise 3 of them in the street.

Taken from the northern echo

Boro have been so slick so far. They've given Rotherham the runaround.

Hayden Hackney is bossing it in the middle, Coulson is impressing down the left, Silvera looks bright & Rodgers has been excellent.

Should be 2-0

Great chance for Boro to end the half as they started it - with a Silvera goal.

Payero played it into the path of the Aussie, who only had Johansson to beat but he hesitated & the keeper was equal to it. Moments later, Rodgers should score but the keeper makes another fine save.

Boro impressive. They've bossed it & should have scored at least two or three more goals.

Rotherham haven't had a shot on target.

Silvera with the goal

All change for the 2nd half

Final score 2 nil to the mighty Boro

Sounds good, if we take the negatives after the Hartleppol & York fixtures then we should take the positives from todays result, a ground we lost at last sesson

Sounds interesting that Carrick has been bringing the younger players in to train alongside the 1st team from the beginning of his time here, something Woodgate spoke about wanting leading up to his time as manager, players coming in & playing as the 1st team do

Simple really, no mention of Kavanagh in any friendlies, thought he would have been in & around that group

Disappointing regarding Kav - has been touted as the next big thing in some quarters. I hope we persevere with him. The step up to senior football can't be underrated- it is massive.

I dont understand his non involvement unless he's injured though not seen anything mentioned

Mike Peeler

I am not saying its the case with the young lad Kavanagh but I think the club is now recruiting and will be building from within using a specific playing style system. Which might see some shipped out both young and old.

As we saw with the keepers a full overhaul due to a different playing style, ie keeps now need to be good on the ball and, likewise do defenders etc, etc when scouting and that message will trickle down the club ladder.
