I worked there for around 5 years or so about 20 years ago and couldn't get my head around stupid fuckers supporting teams that were 20-30 miles up the road.

If they had supported Hartlepool they could have been a Rotherham sized club with the chance of playing higher up the leagues.

Like you say always been the same...I am guilty of it myself, when I was 18 year old I was a season ticket holder at Newcastle!!! For my sins..
