Speak out against any Henderson move to Saudi and also condemn Liverpool favourite Steven Gerrard for going over there as a manager given its human rights issues and death sentencing laws.

That sort of muddies (no pun intended) the water on 'pundits, ex-players, and alike saying it's ok to chase the wedge. They'll be branded 'homophobic' if they are not carful giving it the nod.

Im not sure I could turn that type of poke down even if it means making a cunt of myself after saying and doing what they have done taking the knee etc. (not that i was ever a knee bender anyhow)

That's why sometimes saying nothing is best and keeping politics and the shit creeping into the game and in some parts is already here, Out of the game would be the best route. That stops the double standards card coming out when the 'wedge' is offered and too good to turn down.

I imagine quite lot of Teesside lads have worked over there and neighbouring countries as equally barbaric so its sometimes just plain and simple faux outrage.

My post wasnt against people working, living over there more against the righteous lot OTR who banged on about taking the knee then looking forward to the world cup, while continually arguing against posters who differed with their opinion

I knew what you meant mate. I agree. 2 brothers have both worked in them neck of the woods and i imagine a few off here and OTR have done also.
It must of been for the wages, so its not new (the regime and laws in SA) to a lot of people.
