Totally agree,Our infrastructures should not be in the hands of investors and speculators in it for the money.Power and water by their very nature are monopolies,they should be run on business lines for efficiently but all profits go back to the company for re-investment.Same for the rail system,the free markets have failed them.

All water companies where privatised with ZERO debt. They have taken £76 billion in dividends, mainly but not exclusively to; Germany France Australia and Italy.
