Suppose i always kind of admired that despite the fact he was blind it never dettered him.

Losing my sight is 1 thing i would hate.
Im practically mutton Jeff but that dont bother me but going blind does "scare me".

Same here Ken I've been hard of hearing all my life were an hearing aid I need 2 but the NHS says nope (nope I won't pay for private) I would hate to be blind how people over come it is inspiring

Tim had 2. He hated them. Used to "sneak" his old 1s back in whenever he could 😅👍

I'm just advised I struggle with multiple people talking, people talking quietly, whispering I'm not supposed to use the off the shelf type (Specsavers ones) because I have had an operation because of repeated infections in my left ear I put that one in my right ear even though it's for the left I noticed how clear my hearing was both Specsavers and the NHS say no but I know if I said I'll pay they would say you can have 2

I know someone who has had the op and had something fitted to the side of his head.

No I don't need that type (in any case I could play on it with that type when getting told off by my beloved for not listening even though I do and she says you heard me 🤣🤣🤣🤣 don't tell lies) they also class it as my age but my hearing hasn't altered ie the level I can hear for 20+ years now the say age comes into it (yeah right'o) I've managed for this long but it's can be embarrassing when I miss hear something
