The rumors and discontent behind them have all kicked up because now it seems clear that Carrick and his coaching staff are underperforming.

I have called out Scott in the past but now think he has done on the whole a very good job with recruitment.  We have had injuries to deal with (I agree with Ural there is something beyond normal with the number and type of injury we have had for several years now) but with teh squad we have we should be comfortably in the play off positions.

This is a weak =Championship and we are set up for success.

The main reason we are not succeeding relates to tactics, team line ups, and style of play and mindset.  A lot for that goes straight to the manager and his coaches.  No manager can be inflexible and have just one way of playing - it's too predictable and easy to counter.  We have seen it time and time again.  Stubbornly sticking to something that isn't working is fucking stupid.

Hiring Carrick's brother when Danks left was another stupid move. That is pure nepotism with a guy unlikely to get in Carrick's ear.  He needs someone to challenge him (not constant fighting!).  Any inexperienced manager (in any field) needs that experienced hand to guide them.  His brother has done fuck all elsewhere.

Carrick is fucking up currently and needs a boot up the arse.

To me, sadly, the Carrick ship has sailed. Currently on the rocks, men falling overboard but Captain Carrick utters no change we carry on.

And all around the ship takes on more and more water.....

Unless we win tonight.. then we'll be dark horses for league.. we'll struggle to keep hold of Carrick.. and of course the classic of how we will stuggle in the prem even if we do go up.

Probability - if following Typical Boro script is we could win tonight. On the flp side typical Boro could easily lose to a side that hasn't won at home yet.

Unless we change drastically you can forget about the Prem next season.Even if we did we would need 8-9 first teamers to be brought in.

And Carrick as a manager elect anywhere? I doubt it. Too many flaws in his make up.
