I so wanted him to sign an improved contract & glad he did & went on record to say it was our best signing of the summer but never bought into this 'worried that a bigger club will poach him away from us', still don't think he's good enough to manage at a higher level yet. He done really well in his first season, his second season was littered with injuries, losing big players & a number of new signings resulting in us starting poor & sort of gathering points through the season to then finish the campaign as the form team in the Championship & high expectations for this season, but so far, apart from the odd game, Stoke at home in the league, Cardiff away, Watford & Norwich up to the 70th minute we have been really awful at times to the point were you just can't see challenging for a top 6 place, never mind autos

I thought finally at last, after all the revolving doors managers we've seen over many seasons that we have a club & young progressive manager that could develop together, young talented players coming in we'll grow as a club until he reaches heights when a bigger club see something in him but as it stands he's probably a step above Rooney& nowhere near West Ham, Man Utd & England thats been mentioned to often

We seem so weak defensively, concede at the drop of a hat, miss chances to either score, or put games to bed, there doesn't seem to be any part of our game that you think, if we get that right, or that, we can build on & move forward.

Yesterday game when in all honesty, we could so easily have lost 6-1 (Burgzorg should have at least hit the target) that they had chances to score before they did, his subs, his loyalty to players that are not performing, his rigid boring system, regardless of opposition & tactics the opposing team display if & when they get a chance to score, which they usually take, then it makes it so much harder for us to hit back which has proved time & time again this season

I really want him to succeed here, I want him to learn his trade here, but we need to see things in our team that we're not far away from being a really good side, yesterday I didn't, I seen the second half v Swansea, Preston, the full game v Derby, Sunderland, Bristol City & the collapse v Watford & Norwich.

I was really looking forward to the game & thought after the majority of the Norwich game that we'll kick on, but as the Bristol City was bad, Coventry was worse

"Just outside the play offs", or tenth place as I like to call it.And there's a reason for that..

We're on the fringes of taking 3 points to get closer to the chasing pack or to drop closer to the bottom teams

I find it utter delusional this x points off a playoff spot. We seem to blow the chance of getting into the top 6 with monotonousregularity.

I think we will lose to QPR. If so, there will be longer and louder shouts for Carrick's head.
