Boro suffered a 3-0 defeat away to Woolwich Arsenal (2nd division) ending our 1st month in our first season as a member of the football league

Since our opening football league fixture away to Lincoln City in a 3-0 defeat on the 2nd September, we have lost 4, (losing the first 3 games) drew one & winning only the once of September, from our 6 games in this month, scoring 4, conceding 13
