Good craic and everyone has a good time regardless of the result. However, Headingley needs to sort it's shit out, the beer was so bad I had to switch to that awful summer dark fruit cider, and the bogs were third world. The whole stand is 70/80's leftovers and needs knocking down and re-vamping. Also, without warning they just shut all the bars down at 5pm, which didn't go down well with hundreds queueing at the bar for ages. Got tickets for two matches there next year  :unbelievable:

In the popular stand with all the oiks  :rudi: I was on the box a few times I was told by mates at home. Weather was perfect mate, it was a good day on the whole.

Don't know how you can say that. The entire stadium has been gradually redeveloped over the last fifteen years or so.

Are you sure you were there?  :wry:

Get away from the riff raff in the western terrace! I like the smaller stands on the north / east side. Smaller queues at the bars as well 😉

Popular stand is the only stand they haven't touched, and it shows. Yes I was there, and will be at Durham Tuesday also, to see England get battered.

If the popular stand is the one I'm thinking of i.e the section that runs between the western terrace (now called stand) and rugby stand end has DEFINATELY been rebuilt.

Its a top class venue now is Headingley.

Proud to have been in the western terrace when it erupted during the notorious YCCC v Norhants Nat West semi-final back in 1995. What a day!

I think the western terrace is called the popular stand now
