Barlaser can be effective in the right set up (ie legs and tacklers etc doing the hard work around him).  He can definitely pick a pass.

I am at a loss as to why we paid 3 million for Hamilton.  He looks absolutely useless.  He always receives the ball, stops, turns around and plays it back.... rinse... repeat.  Look at Mundle today - wingers need to get at defenders with pace. 

The way we set up on the left isn't helping any of our left backs - we need a left winger, or at least someone who spends a chunk of time out there instead of always drifting in.  We don't have balance as a team, offering hardly anything down the left, which makes us even more predictable and easy to set up against.  I've said it before but I'd put Engel on the left wing (until we buy a left winger) ahead of Borges - he has some pace and can cross.  Can Doak play there?

Burgzorg looks like a shit signing.  Why get him and put Coburn out in loan?  Makes no sense to me.

Some signings have been decent though.  For example, Morris has been really good - and probably our best player today.  Conway will come good.

Hackney, Ayling and Lath have all had a big drop in form this season which is hurting us.

Conway & |Doak are twisty turning players with pace , use them more directly  & it increases the options we have to get up pitch faster , LL is better when he don't have time to think on chances ...bit too much slow passing aids the opposition  more than us !
