Awful news at only 63 years old, my age, the Aston Villa legend from their league championship & european cup winners passed away after a fall

Remember him playing at Ayresome Park, stylish goalscoring CF, scored against us too at Ayresome Park

I remember that game. There was a delayed celebration in the boys end because we weren't sure we'd scored until the players all lined up for the restart.
I'm sure Shaw scored a cracker against us in the 3-3 game 12 months later. Big Billy Ashcroft on as a sub won us a point with two late goals. One while he was sat on his arse, the other a juggle and a cracking volley.
