One of the best seasons following the mighty Boro.

Crystal Palace 2 Boro 3

Following our only home defeat of the season a week earlier v Fulham we travelled to South London to big Mal's Crystal Palace, one of the bookies favourites for promotion & came away with both points after securing a 3-2 win with goals from, John Hickton, Brian Taylor & David Mills the start of our 24 unbeaten game run

Big John put Boro one up after 8 minutes, the score remained this way at HT

64th minute - Palace his back to equalise in the 2nd half when defender John Craggs scored an OG bringing the scores level
66th minute - Within 2 minutes David Mills restored Boro's lead for his his 1st goal of the season
69th minute -  The Boro scored again when CB, Brian Taylor, scored his only 1st team Boro career goal to increase our lead to 3-1
76th minute - Palace pulled one back to reduce the arrears but the Boro hung on taking both points back to Teesside
