Tried to watch it found it unfunny same as phoenix nights yet people raved about it

Loved The Office.

But Afterlife and Derek were just as good by Gervais. Afterlife is really superb.

Afterlife was too close for comfort and The Office in hindsight I worked with everyone of the characters.

I never really got it the first time round but watched it again years later and it's a masterpiece.

Gervais is a comic genius, the character Derek is brilliant. Don't think he's done anything unfunny. Stand up brilliant, Extras was brilliant, etc etc.

Watching Extras again at the moment.  He does "cringe" comedy better than anyone.

The Office - UK and US are very different styles but both are excellent.

Life's Too Short is funny AF too.
