Imagine a hundred years ago, if there was a government jobsworth sat in the Masham, pulling blokes up for spreading "misinformation". Well that's what 'clamping down on social media' basically means.
They always use unrest as an excuse to clamp down on freedoms. No matter how wrong or stupid, as long as you're not slandering anyone or inciting violence, you should be able to say exactly what you want. If you hear any politician saying they want to crack down on what's said on social media, do not touch them with a barge pole.

Why does everyone think politicians actually give a fuck about us anyway? All just do enough to appease the majority, throw scraps and save the rest for themselves.

They're absolutely not arsed about the working class chatting shite on social media and smashing cars up. And that's all parties.

Why doesn't the Crown Estate give up some of their billions to help with the homelessness of British soldiers, or to help children in the UK living in poverty? Oh yeah cos they don't care.

Imagine how long you'd last pinning up etchings on the wall of supposed criminals.. all of which turned out to be complete bollocks!

A call for British patriots, No Surrender and all that bollocks is a call to arms and inciting violence.

You SHOULD be able to say what you want, you SHOULD be honest tho.

Quote from: Poolielad on August 05, 2024, 11:09:56 AMIn our once great country!!! Everyone arguing and saying this n that.....Nobody as come up with anything constructive to sort all this unrest out!!! How would you do it!!

First of all I blame all our Politicians for this..

Stop the boats is the first thing what they need to do.Immigration is good, only if they bring something to this once great Country!!! Illegal immigration, is stoking this situation, get them hotels emptied and punish any here ilegally.
Calling everyone far right is just stoking/winding everyone up... So stop that shite as well!!
Knife crime in this country is now a massive problem....Anyone caught with a knife needs the full force of the law hitting them...
I would say the majority of these rioters are just ferel kids bored shitless (no excuse BTW).... There is absoloutly nothing for these kids to do, so this is there bit of fun!!! So give them something, where are all the youth clubs gone?? Why does it cost a fortune to hire these 3g football pitches?? Get these young kids on there playing football or any other sports for free...

Thats just a few things that come to mind.

Whats your thoughts?? (without arguments).

I think you are pretty spot on. If I was to be petty I think the boats is a side event, but you are right it winds people up, so do something about it. But as I said, I think on the whole you are on the button.

We need to find a way of quelling the hate on every side of the spectrum.

You're seeing the arguments on here - they're out of order, but yeah seeing what those others are doing - it's a neverending circle of viciousness.

I keep saying that a major issue we have is in our traditional council estates, 2nd & 3rd generation lowlifes terrorising the good people, see Hemlington as an example.

I don't have any solutions as such, it's a very complex and ingrained societal issue but the first point of order is to give the Police & Authorities the power to arrest the knife carriers, brick throwers etc without fear of thinking they have to pussyfoot around certain criteria dependant on the criminals background.

The Police are at the centre of this

Once they stopped acting without favour (i.e. Hating every cunt) there was an imbalance which people took advantage of

Start doing your job and stop trying to be nice to people

Go and see how the French, Germans, Poles Spanish deal with things for starters

I'd sack that cunt in the Met right away

Stop trying to stir the shit in this thread, idiot!!! We`ve had enough of that in other threads.

Ok.

1. Clamp down on misinformation being spread on social media and football message boards.

2. Clamp down on memes being posted on social media and football message boards that are purely designed to incite racial hatred and violence.

3. Educate morons that the son of  immigrants does not automatically mean one of those mental brown skinned Muslims. Therefore it is not "the straw that broke the camel's back" or whatever other excuse they used for all the violence and attacking of mosques etc that has happened over the last few days.

Educate us,

Where did you see people running round with knives stabbing people?
The first I heard of it was terrorists in London,
Where do you think this "boy" got the idea from?
Of course it's the straw that broke the camels back, I've heard numerous people say it, my mrs hairdresser just used the same phrase, it can't be coincidence.

Maybe he'd read about Ian Huntley, Ian Brady, Peter Sutcliffe, Wayne Couzens, that bloke who just killed his ex girlfriend and family with a crossbow.

Do we even know if the murders are terror related yet?

If you think this about the three girls murdered in Southport you are misguided.

by coincidence I was talking to one of our Repair blokes yesterday, aged about 35 and Ex military. He was on about the peaceful marches in Germany, it's because the police have big guns (something I disagree with) and still give people a good hiding in their vans.

Rifle, did you find the same?

Johnny Thunder

It's difficult trying to keep this going without getting political.
The issues are complex and volatile.

I do feel for the police. Rock and a hard place.

I think the current rioters have made a poor choice of hill to dig in on, and kick off over the deaths of three innocent young girls.
Just the same as BLM did with Floyd. It's happened now though so the police need to try and ease tensions until it starts to cool down, which it will.

Then quietly, without any fuss, make arrests for the Manchester airport violence.

Lets be honest, that is what has tipped everything lately.

BoroRedKen

Like Brixton, Poll tax etc unless conversation can be had reasonably its a case of letting the goons from all sides "bore themselves".

As we have seen from a lot of communities then the normal thinking amongst us can get out and clean the mess and destruction up and then hopefully sensible debate could be had.

All communities can do is just make sure they are safe and well until it "goes away".

Plus the season starts soon lads and lass!
