I know I sound like a broken record but still believe we're better off setting up with a back three & wing-backs, especially when taking into account the amount of goals we conceded last season.
We've got four top end Championship centre-backs so lets utilise them.
Ayling/Jones at right wing-back. Engel has pace and can cross so ideal credentials for the left. Hackney & Howson/Morris in the middle with Azaz & McGree in support of Latte Lath up front.

It seems to be a formation that our club seems to gravitate towards. It's normally a spate of injuries that forces our hand.

Conway would be a good addition to what we have currently and maybe a left back in on loan.

I don't know much abut Conway and his style of play.  Where would he fit in that line up?  In addition to or in place of LL?

I don't know much abut Conway and his style of play.  Where would he fit in that line up?  In addition to or in place of LL?

Back up to LL although I think he could maybe play on the right a bit like Forss.

I'm gonna go a for a bit of crazy talk now.. if we miss out on Conway.. I wouldn't be totally against us having a look at Connolly again.

keep him a way from the balloons and the pally fanny (or at least ration him) and we could have a bit of a bargain on our hands.

I just think that MAYBE between Carrick and Woodgate that they could steer Connolly back on track.. maybe.
