The fact, IF she is willing to switch speaks volumes, and it is a massive statement from the former Home Secretary. Openly slating the tory party for not being tory would suggest she will either leave her post and join GB News or will swap to Reform.

She's been very much part of a failed Conservative Government for 9 years now.

An MP joining GB News shouldn't be something that is celebrated or revered.. and neither should jumping ship to another party.

People talk about the cost of the Rawanda project. Which is fair enough. But at what cost for putting up these hordes in the UK?

What is it, £7 million and rising a day? That to me adds up to £2.55 BILLION A YEAR.

No small amount for a country that barely has a pot to piss in.......

The Estimated cost of each initial person sent to Rwanda is £2m. £600m to send 300 people there. To send 200,000 there would be £4bn, that's still 200k per person. The idea that they just get booted on a plane and it's done with is sheer fallacy.

They didn't do it because they didn't have the money to anyway, so easier to run the clock down and make it labours problem - probably why the election got called early.

And the signal it sends out to the illegals would be what? Enter the UK at your
peril as you stand a chance of being shipped out. A deterrent who's true value can't be estimated.

A chance of being shipped out, but not a very big one as we can't afford to do it.

Surely the better deterrent is to tackle the source rather then fund an airline and resettlement area on an ongoing basis?
