I was in Ibiza our first home game vs Chelsea, I didn't plan that trip very well  :carrick3:

Got to watch our opener v Arsenal though, and Barmby score the opener in a bar over there though  :carrick2:

I never got to see many games in our first season at the Riverside. I had been to three qualifiers, a quarter final, semifinal and the final of Euro 96.

I thought the wife would divorce me if I spent any more money on football.

We had the tickets in place 18 months earlier but it was all the travel, hotels and money for drink that was the cost.

Wow, where have those years gone. Had a season ticket with my 12 year old son. When I walked up the steps to take my seat in the east stand I was awestruck.
