Trippier injured? Guehi suspended?

We looked a bit brighter with Foden off.. does he start?

are we going to be forced into changing our shape?

We've looked good with the big names out of the way..

Will Southgate be BOLD?

--------Pickford---------
--Walker--Stones--Konsa--
Trent--Rice--Mainoo--Saka
----Eze--Toney--Palmer---

3-4-3 and lets have Bellingham, Kane and Foden on the Bench!

MORE CHANCE OF THE TORYS GETTING BACK  IN THAN... THAT BEING THE TEAM 🙄

SHAW IS FIT AGAIN AND TRAINED SO COZ HORSEFACE LOVES HIM HE WILL PLAY AHEAD OF TRIPPIER....HE WON'T CHANGE THE TEAM OTHER THAN THAT BECAUSE HE'S JUST A ONE TRICK PONY....IF WE BEAT THE SWISS THEN I WILL BE ASTOUNDED 👍
GET WELL SOON STEVE G

It should be

           Pickford

    Walker  Stones   Konsa

TAA     Rice    Bellingham    Shaw

      Palmer  Kane  Gordon

Saka has been poor throughout. Safety first and first thought/touch is backwards
Foden - same as Saka above and he just does not work in a 4231. He perhaps could work in a 343 in place of Gordon but we need pace in behind to start and get us further up the pitch.

If Shaw is fit, we may as well start him. Him and Trent will offer natural width which we have not had this far and good quality deliveries and Palmer and Gordon are direct and want to make things happen.

4231 is not working and will not work with this group of players.

I thought you had us to play the Netherlands?  Spain vs France in the other semi..

Can't see Shaw starting.. try saying that after a few scoops!

Konsa for Guehi is pretty much a given.. if Trippier passes a fitness test.. then he might be back in.

Looks like Bellingham might get banned.

They've made a lot out of that. Maybe they slap a big fine on him?

Phil Foden and build the team around him .
I don't understand what the pundits and punters problem with him.
Just watching Portugal now and the movement is tremendous, same with Spain.  If Foden was of the Nationality of those, he walks into their teams.
We don't have a fucking clue to be honest. He is the only player actually moving into space and we criticise him.  Mental.

We do seem to have a problem with managing technical players.

I thought we would grow into this competition.. hopefully we still can!

Drop Foden or move him into the center - he's been shite out left.

I like Saka but he has been poor (still injured or not match fit? doesn't seem to have any speed or burst of acceleration).  Palmer deserves a start and so does Mainoo.

If Shaw is fit put him in for Tripper (who has stymied us on the left every game).  Our left side has been crap.  Shaw and Gordon or Eze for me.

I liked what I saw from Toney when he came on and would give him some game time - maybe a sub though when Kane disappears at 60 minutes.

Walker had an off game - I'd stick with him (but not against TAA).

Bellingham needs to stop sucking his own cock and focus for the full game.

Our current set up has us bunching in the middle leaving no space (people turning inside on their stringer foot etc).  A few times in the Slovakia game no one on our team was further wide than the edge of the penalty area.

Southgate needs to get fired after the tournament.  He is utterly shite at team selection and tactics and in game management.  I've come to fucking hate the sippy sippy insipid crow like fucktwat.

He said he's off if he doesn't win the tourney.. we don't seem to have gotten out of first gear.. which should terrify teams!

We looked bright when Foden went off.. all our subs looked like they brought something to the table.

Bellingham was came up with the goods again.

Are we one of those teams that needs to start off on the back foot to get us going? We have looked comfortable in all of our matches.. tourney are won at the business end and only one result should matter.

Maybe suspensions/injuries will force our hand?

So you would drop Foden for a none moving forward line ?
I see what you mean, but there has to be something wrong within the coaching setup. Probably too nice.
I go back to my previous call and say that Rice is not doing enough and these guys are waiting for a through ball. But they are getting bored watching defenders fucking around with nothing passes between themselves.

The only time we have played with any freedom and spark at all was when we went down - it's only when he has to change things that we ditch his dull side to side safety first tactics and allow some younger in form players to give it a go. It isn't easy flicking a switch to change the style of play mid game so I would prefer not too rely on us being to do that and set up to attack from the start.

He ALWAYS reverts to his dull style for each new game or when we go ahead.  It was absolutely the wrong thing to do when we played the last final.  We should have won that comfortably but decided to sit back for over 80 minutes.

I don't want to see kamikaze attacking but I want to see movement and some adventurous play with us taking some risks occasionally.  The strength of our squad/team is attacking play - we should play to our strengths.

Bellingham is too good not to play in that number 10 position and Kane is too good for Bellingham to be played in that Real Madrid False 9 position.

Foden is kind of the odd one out.  Because he does better in that number 10 position.. but he's too good not to play on the left.. which doesn't seem to tie in well with Bellingham at the moment.

Changed to our stock formation and our stock starting line up will happen and hopefully that will make us stronger rather than weaker.

The masterplan?

The prevailing wisdom is he can't play in the middle with Bellingham (not sure that is true though).  I value Bellingham more than Foden so if that's true drop him - if not play him behind Kane and pull Bellingham back - possibly replacing Rice?  He has added nothing on the left and I would prefer Gordon ,or Eze, out there, both of whom add width and speed.

Something like this for me....

Pickford (I prefer Ramsdale but can't see him being brought in unless Pickford is injured)

Walker (or TAA) - Stones - Konsa - Shaw (or? not Trippier)

Bellingham

Palmer - Mainoo - Gordon

Foden (with freedom to roam)

Kane (make up stay up top and not come back)

Westlane_rightwinger

He'll only make changes he's forced to.

Wouldn't be surprised if he tried to call up rainbow Henderson 😀

Too Much Perspective

Pickford
Walker Stones Konsa
Trent              Shaw if fit or else Saka
Mainoo Rice Bellingham
Kane    Toney
