Electric cars are not good for the environment.

The McMaster on Youtube has run a Taycan for 3 yrs , loves the way it drives but hates everything else about it. 3 hr journeys regularly turn into 6 hrs due to infrastructure or lack off.
Because I no longer drive to Aberdeen and back I've ditched diesel and got a plug in hybrid. Works great for me, put £30 petrol in every couple of months, rest of time just using cheap tariff electricity to keep battery topped up , never need to use public charging !

No and neither is Liz Kershaw. Its an article from the Telegraph.

BoroRedKen

Dont slag off the Kershaw!

Love that woman. Always have. Proper party bird in her day was Liz.....

Too Much Perspective

It's the secondhand market/long-term battery degradation issue with pure EVs that puts me off. Business lease - fair enough. Personal contract / private purchase - no thanks.

BoroRedKen

Little too much perspective there mate!

See what i did? C'mon you must of been waiting for someone to say it!

Glad to oblige.

My Mrs had one, loved it for local journeys and pottering around town, but any further afield and she used my oil burner.

Full charge sated 160 miles, in reality she would be lucky to get 80

She's now got an oil burner as well
