You must live near me Erimus.

When people from out of the area come to see us and they drive past Acklam Hall and the surrounding area they have that look in their eyes of 'I thought Middlesbrough was a complete shithole'

Acklam Hall, Avenue of Trees, Paths up alongside Sandy Flatts...........me and the young 'un are out in those areas all the time.

Totally agree about this area Erimus and Tommy ,used to do that walk when I lived in Acklam,Now I live in Thornaby I walk my Jack Russell most days into Baselton woods and along the river Tees.Still to this day it amazes me that within a 15 minute walk you are into beautiful countryside.
