John Neal to sign Micky Burns before the season kicks off

It didnt happen till October when we signed him but what a striker he was for us, plus good news about big John too

I dont quite remember the Burns transfer (i was 7!) but can remember John Neal (just) as manager.

Think i remember Neal from a post you made the other day about Wood and Chelsea and that sparked a memory!.

Love reading about the players of Boro in the 70's. So much wish i had been born 10yr earlier.
