Anybody use Hewlett Packard PC'S/Laptops

Since some sort of update the CAPS LOCK key notification sign keeps popping up and it messes about with reversing caps lock.

The only "cure" i can suss is going into task manager everytime i switch on and stopping the HP Event Utility task.

Anybody clued up enough to know how to stop it permanently?
