Have to say im torn on this 1.

I live in an area that has some preservation orders in place. It keeps things neat and tidy and stops people building ridiculously coloured extensions etc.
There was a point not that long ago that people were ordered to take down England flags flying outside windows etc. I genuinely believe it was a "look" thing rather than a "race" thing.

I just think we need to realise that this may come across as a "race" thing (because it shows the UJ) but its more likely that it just does not fit in with the area.

Its not the guys 1st run in with his local authority.

I fly the Union flag from my house and had a neighbour ask why I fly it...told him to jog on.

Depending on the time of year, I also fly the Blue Red Blue of the Guards Division, my Regimental flag and a Santa flag for the kids at xmas

We don't fly enough flags in this country if you ask me

It's a "Thorny" subject or are you made to feel like that?
I don't contribute to these "Types"of posts as it may be deemed racist.

But I've been, seen worked all over this green an pleasant land.

And every city, provincal town has a cenotaph for the memory of the reason I'm here.

But now I have a sense of pride. You know to read inscriptions on plaques, see what people were through, something that gives me immense pride.

I don't get embroiled in this kinda stuff, like to come here to have a laugh.

But I understand, maybe through ignorance, being a young divvy, took some time, like everything in life.
