Without getting into a debate on Gibson, for me he has shown time & time again that he'll back any Boro manager/recruitment team with money
Whether they use it correctly is in their hands

I cant recall prior to any incoming manager, Woodgate apart, though I was happy with him as manager, that there was an outcry of dislike towards any manager brought in

Looking through the current bunch of first team players contracts it will be expensive to move on a number of players who just dont cut it at the Boro & aren't good enough to help us towards a promotion pushing season

Still expecting a busy summer of high potential targets, fingers crossed successful targets

Extend Paddy and Dijksteel
Let Ayling, Thomas and Greenwood go back. Negotiate a deal for O'brien.

After the fantastic loanees we had last season, what a contrast they've been this time. Bordering on disastrous in fact. If we didn't have Smith under contract I'd be tempted to offer only Ayling a deal, especially after learning - via the link - that perma-crock Djiksteel is unfortunately still contracted for another year.

Re-signing McNair is a must as far as I'm concerned.
