Nottm Forest arrived at Ayresome Park in our 2nd divison championship winning season

The mighty Boro who haven't lost a game this calander year, in fact, you have to go back to 13th November for our last defeat & further back for our last & only home defeat of the season so far, our 1st home game too, which George Camsell didnt play

Boro beat Forest 1-0 & amazingly our iconic, goalscoring superstar legend, George Camsell, didnt score the goal of the game, William Birrell got the only goal of the game, his 5th of the campaigne, infront of 33,354 fans

Boro manager Herbert Bamletts team finished the season as champions, 8 points ahead of 2nd place Portsmouth, Man City & 10 points ahead of 4th placed Chelsea, with the legendary George Camsell scoring 59 goals of our 122 goals
