Star of the silver screen....John Wark.

Forgot about John Wark,a few years ago I was at a benefit night and he was a guest,he regaled us with how his medical at Liverpool went and how he finished at the Boro,The story goes that Lennie Lawrence wanted the players to live within an hour of AP..He still lived at Ipswich so both parties agreed to terminate the contract amicably.

AtomicDog

Remember seeing him (when he played for us) one night after a game in the Dickens Inn.

Slumped against the bandit, drunk as a c**t, bottle of Holsten Pils in his hand.

Went to watch Boro play away to Port Vale in 1990. We got a lift off Dave Roberts off the radio and we where waiting outside the stadium for him to come out after the game. John Wark came past with a crate full of beer on his shoulder for the team coach journey home.
