Great tune aint it?

No.

I like to think im on the road to "recovery" but i cant shake this insomnia.
I have tried everything i know.
From nibbling raw ginger to having a bath before bed. From having a toke to turning everything off half an hour before bed.

I am loathed to try sleeping pills.

Any tips?

TIA.

Best tip I can give is not to fight it

Get up and have a cuppa

Don't be afraid of sleeping pills, they some times help you get in a sleep pattern

Used to take me hours to unwind after a night shift. Its ok to say "i leave it at the works door". But some of the things i had seen and heard made that impossible.

Boro town centre is a whole different world after dark compared to the daytime.

Some very sick damaged people just left to their own devices after dark. The after hours crisis team service in Boro is a disgrace after dark.

Needs stripping from top to bottom and the service user put back as the number 1 priority. Quangos and Quotas need firmly booting out of the door and never let back in the building. EVER.

13 years blah blah blah. Local gov spending cuts blah blah blah.

Ok. You have made you points and concerns and they have been accepted (even a Tory like me finds it hard to argue over this particular subject).

Now stop fucking around. Now stop the fucking pathetic in house "fighting". Stop wheeling Cardboard Cook the mayor out for hand shaking and hand wringing photo ops.

And get back to what really matter. Helping the people of Boro that are lost. Soulless souls. The needy. The people that have no contact with another human for weeks on end.
The people that need you in office the most.

I dont really care if your a local councillor with lofty political ambitions if im really honest.

I care about what you can do for the people that believe electing you/them will do to fight for them and improve their lives.

Its the people that matter.

PS Mr Blades thats the last kind of "positive" thing i shall ever say about you!

So there!!

Cheers Tunny. Food for thought.

I just feel im too reliant on prescribed medication to just stay alive. I am loathed to put more in my body.

BoroRedKen

My next target to dump is the anti depressant medication and stuff. Far too long reliant on that.

There is 1 i have to take but i wont talk about that (its not bad or evil or criminal just "me".).

I need to see life naturally if that makes sense?

Our lass pops more pills than the Happy Mondays mate

Does my napper in, but she'd probably struggle if she came off em, all part of her BPD

You can get herbal sleep tablets, like natural stuff, give them a go

BoroRedKen

Good enough for me then Tunny.

I think you might know more about me than i think you might know...........
